• preparation of proofs of claims and representation at creditor meetings;





• review of Chapter 7 plans to ensure that client claims are correctly disclosed; negotiation with Chapter 7 trustees to obtain notices of abandonment of property; obtaining reaffirmation of debts and relief from stays;





• review of Chapter 11 plans; obtaining documents from the bankruptcy court necessary for determining whether further action is required to protect the client’s interests; preparation of motion for stay with respect to personalty; preparation of motions for adequate protection; obtaining relief from stays which affect residential and commercial property;





• review of Chapter 13 plans; obtaining payment history from the client and objection to the Plan where necessary; obtaining relief from stays with respect to real and personal property; negotiating and drafting lift stay orders and obtaining adequate protection for creditor clients on commercial property security where the debtor receives income from the bankruptcy estate; and adversary proceedings in Bankruptcy Court.
