From 1975 to 1976, Mr. Moreno served as the head
of the Attorney General of Texas' Consumer Protection Division Office in
McAllen, Texas. In 1980 he
served as Interim Judge of the County Court at Law No. 2, Cameron County,
Texas. Prior to studying law he
was an auditor for Price Waterhouse & Co. in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Moreno handles mortgage,
commercial loan, commercial leasing,
real estate purchase, sale and development, asset recovery, real estate
litigation and bankruptcy matters for financial institution, business, domestic and foreign investor clients.
He handled real estate and mortgage lending transactions of all sizes
for the Resolution Trust Corporation involving unimproved land, commercial
property, warehouse property, apartment buildings, office buildings, hotels,
and single family property. He
also handles forcible detainer and foreclosure matters.
Mr. Moreno is also responsible for the firm's federal and state
appellate work. He has served
as Chairperson of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce's Leadership
San Antonio class. He enjoys reading, playing chess, and studying foreign
languages.
